Launched and built in 2023 - The Wooden Hare. This is at the same location as Hare Cottage in Finghall but still sat privately from one another so ideal for families and friends wanting to travel together but have their own space.  Combined the cottages can sleep 8 people.

Boasting stunning views, the brand new cottage comfortably sleeps 4 people in a super king room and single room/small twin.  Private and excluded the gardens are escapee proof for 4 legged guests, as well as providing space to meander on lawn and decking. There is also adjoining 3 acre private fields you are welcome to walk your dog in or of course throw a ball!

High spec electric hot tub, sit soft dining table and sun chairs add to the external features. 

Electric car charging point, ample private parking and to the door parking.  Internally there is plenty to do with a 5ft pool/ping pong table, bio-ethanol fire and single room which has been created to fulfil the needs of a business traveller with a business pack and monitor with USB and HDMI ports.  

You can walk to the village pub from the cottage (fabulous food, ambiance and log fires in winter and stunning views from the decking in summer).  There is also the Blue Lion East Witton, Wensleydale Heifer and Saddle Rooms a short drive away.

Thumb a lift with the village steam train or go for a multitude of river and country walks.  There are plenty of pretty towns and villages in the locality with many dale walks and friendly pubs.
